Admission requirements vary depending on the course level (Artisan, Certificate, Diploma). Below are the general entry qualifications:
1 .🔹 Artisan Courses
• Minimum Qualification: Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) or its equivalent.
• Suitable for school leavers or those without secondary education seeking hands-on skills and trade certifications.
2 .🔹 Certificate Courses (Level 4 – TVET CDACC or KNEC)
• Minimum Qualification: Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with a minimum mean grade of D (plain) or its equivalent.
• Applicants should meet any specific subject cluster requirements, depending on the course (e.g., English or Kiswahili for counselling-related programs).
3. Diploma Courses (Level 6 – TVET CDACC or KNEC)
• Minimum Qualification: KCSE with a minimum mean grade of C- (minus) or a relevant certificate from a recognized institution.
• Some diploma programs may require a certificate in the same field or related area for direct entry.
4. 🔹Short Courses / Professional Workshops
• Open to individuals with interest or work experience in a particular field.
• No formal academic qualifications required.
• Participants receive a certificate of participation or competency.

• Visit our campus, website, or call our admissions office for personalized career guidance. • Attend an orientation or open day (optional but recommended). 2.🔹 Application • Obtain and complete an Application Form from the VTCTI office or download from our website. • Attach required documents (KCSE certificate, ID/Birth Certificate, passport photo). • Submit the completed form physically or via email. 3.🔹 Application Review • The admissions team will review your application for eligibility and completeness. • You will be notified of your admission status within 3–5 working days. 4.🔹 Admission Letter & Fees • Once accepted, you will receive an Official Admission Letter with a fee structure and reporting instructions. • Payment can be made in installments. 5.🔹 Registration • Report to the institution on the specified date with original documents. • Complete the registration process and receive a student ID.The School of Counselling and Social Studies equips students with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to support individuals, families, and communities.
